these cards no longer cause any phase to be skipped, they simply burn one
"master phase action".

These are still the same action, just as two Bum's Rushes are the same action.
(while you could stretch this to mean Bum's Rushing Ozmo is not the same
as Bum's Rushing Lucian - a la Encounter V in Torpor to A, the two Haven
Uncovereds on the same vampire most definately describe the same action).

?!What!? This cannot be correct for Dodge (for S:CE and steal/destoy weapon
with first strike, sure, but *not* by dodging.) You're saying that I can
keep firing my shotgun every round of combat until my opponent doesn't
dodge the pellets? What possible rationale is at work here? A bomb
*explodes*, just because the squirrely vampire was fast enough to jump out
of harm's way will not put the bomb back together. Try throwing a grenade
a second time when you miss the first time - I'd like to see it. The *strike*
is negated by dodge, not any side effects of using the strike.
Just for laughs, since a .44 packing Dragon's Breath won't be burned if
the opposing minion dodges, does the .44 still enjoy the added damage
through aditional rounds? how about additional strikes the same round?
(DBR, like Immortal Grapple, doesn't specify how long the effect lasts,
and therefore, like Immortal Grapple, lasts the whole combat - or until
the gun is burned, right?)

Why is dodging this strike treated differently than dodging a Bomb strike?

Nice choice of terminology :-) Is referendum defined anywhere? (I mean,
people on the newsgroup know what it means, but that could be because of
other sources.)

The name implies that the card may be played out of the proper sequence,
not necessarily only during other player's turns.
