I have heard a rumour that LSJ has said that kraken's kiss works like this: "if you take more than 3 damage in the resulting combat, even if you prevent some of it, you go to torpor". Looking into previous postings i have discovered that LSJ has said quite the opposite. That the "more than 3 damage" must be successfuly inflicted. So to straighten this out once and for all: i strike opposing minion with Kraken's kiss, he strikes me for 4, i prevent 1 (from sideslip, Guardian Angel, e.t.c ) i do not go into torpor, because only 3 was successfuly inflicted, right ? and a 2nd question: I strike with kraken's kiss supperior, i play pursuit sup. and i steal 2, i press, in the 2nd round i steal 2 with my initial strike, play blur for 2 additional strikes, using my 1st additional i strike with sup. kraken's kiss, does the recently played kraken's kiss allow me to use my 2nd additional to steal 2 blood ? i believe it does, because effects stack by default, right ? If the answer is yes and i press, during the 3rd round can i steal 2 blood (using the effect of the sup. Kr.Kiss i have played in round 1) and steal another 2 as an additional strike (using the effect of the sup. Kr.Kiss i have played in round 2) ?

Which is right?" =P > So to straighten this out once and for all: i strike opposing > minion with Kraken's kiss, he strikes me for 4, i prevent 1 (from > sideslip, Guardian Angel, e.t.c ) i do not go into torpor, because > only 3 was successfuly inflicted, right ? Yes. You generated the ability for the second steal with the second Kiss. Its no different than what you did in the first round (play the Kiss, use an additional strike to steal). > If the answer is yes and i press, during the 3rd round can i steal > 2 blood (using the effect of the sup. Kr.Kiss i have played in round > 1) and steal another 2 as an additional strike (using the effect of > the sup. Kr.Kiss i have played in round 2) ? Yes, Nit: You must generate the additional strike in some way - you seem to have left it out of your description. Seems easier and more robust to put the Drum on Goratrix, but happy stealing..... John Palologus and Matteus Flesh Sculptor both have superior celerity, and this kraken kiss crazy vitae steal combo happens to be in one of my decks ;)

I've personally had more success with just crafting on THA and play Theft of Vitae instead.
