Ok, a few questions. 1) TRAP!!! Can I please get an official answer on this? Is it 3 consecutive rounds, or no? And why the hell didn't they make it clear in the VTES version? :( 2) Spawning Pool and Weather Control: When you take damage from these (and I guess damage in general) do you resolve it immediately, ala Magic? Also, WC says it is dealt at the beginning of the round, but the Spawning Pool is unspecific. As soon as the second round starts, can I tap the Spawning Pool, do mega damage, and send the other vamp to torpor before anything else? Other stuff... I fight someone. He hits me for 3, I hit him for 2. Neither vamp is going to torpor. I (the acting player) play Taste of Vitae first, then he plays Pulled Fangs. Now I am going to torpor, but I used Taste of Vitae. Wierd... And Pulled Fangs....damn that card rules with the new aggro damage rules. Anytime you knock a vampire to 0 blood, a Pulled Fangs will burn him.

The Jyhad version of the card has official errata changing the wording to 'A Nosferatu you control....' I have no idea what the VTES card says. Shane H.W. And why the hell didn't they make it clear in the VTES >version? :( Official: Three consecutive rounds with no card played. The Trap will provide a (single) press (to continue) each round until three rounds pass during which no methuselah had played a card. The Trap card itself counts as a card played, so that round is not included in the three round count. >2) Spawning Pool and Weather Control: When you take damage from these (and >I guess damage in general) do you resolve it immediately, ala Magic? You resolve it immediately, but not with a damage resolution phase (no damage prevention cards may be played, according to WotC). The Spawning Pool may be tapped at any time during combat, and resolves at that time. >Other stuff... >I fight someone. He hits me for 3, I hit him for 2. Neither vamp is >going to torpor. You weren't going to torpor when you tasted, and you weren't still tasting when you got your fangs pulled, so there's no real problem. >And Pulled Fangs....damn that card rules with the new aggro damage rules. >Anytime you knock a vampire to 0 blood, a Pulled Fangs will burn him. Especially since you can no longer prevent the one point (since strike resolution is over by the time Fangs are Pulled). -- L. As soon as the second round starts, can I tap the Spawning Pool, : : do mega damage, and send the other vamp to torpor before anything else? We first saw this a couple weeks ago. They we read it was very clear. The card says if a second round occurs, tap to do damage. There is no mention of combat, the damage is done as you press into the next round. : : And Pulled Fangs....damn that card rules with the new aggro damage rules. : : Anytime you knock a vampire to 0 blood, a Pulled Fangs will burn him. : What is this new rule? Is this a new rules change I missed? Or is my : above statement what you meant to say? I don't know WHAT you're talking about, but this is how it works: OLD RULES -> the first point of aggravated damage deals no damage, merely puts a vampire in torpor. NEW RULES -> All aggravated damage removes blood from the vampire. PULLED FANGS -> 1 Aggravated Damage: it use to just torporize your guy, now it takes one blood off him, too; but if he doesn't have any blood to give, then he is burned! GOT IT?!
