Yes. Any damage received in combat may be prevented unless prohibited by
card text. As for the Fangs still being pulled, I refer you to Tom's
earlier post on the effects of prevented damage from Pulled Fangs:

Using Rotschreck in response to Pulled Fangs will just nullify the damage.
The rest of the Fangs' effect takes place normally.

Officially, useless. I know of no group that plays it that way (except
Gen*Con and presumably the WotC Rules Group :-).

Three consectutive. 4 rounds min if the combat isn't prematurely ended by
S:CE or by an unanswered Press to End.
(Sorry, I can't find an instance of this from an official source).

Sure. You still pay one blood for each. No restrictions on card text
nor in the rules.

Yes. See the following excerpt.

A: (Sec. 15.3, "Special Combat Effects") Well, "Combat Ends" takes
place before any other strike can take effect: Combat Ends beats
any other card out there. (Note that the acting minion must
declare its strike first.)

No official errata on any of these cards.
(Nothing wrong with the vote cards if the vote pushing mis-rule is fixed.)

What's so mystical about it?

Rotschreck: This card affects the vampire doing the damage.

Poor wording would hopefully be corrected in V:tES.

V:tES will clear up M-OoT, but the answer will be *NOT* on your own
turn. Sorry.
Dodge has been cleared for quite some time.
Even the rulebook states that it flatly negates the effects of the opponent's
strike. But, since it's a persistent question:

Dodge: This will cancel a first strike.

Vote pushing is the problem. Alan Kwan has an excellent monologue on the
topic. Available from my Web:

No the rulebook will never address a four-card (or any other) limit.
The tournament guide might, but judging by the "For the heck of it"
mentality of the WotC-sanctioned Gen*Con tourney, I hope they simply
ignore it.
