Round 9 of the League took place on Wednesday Night, and now the table looks like this: Legbiter Played 8 VPs 4,1,1,5,1.5,3, 3, -,4 rating 3245 Mark Baxter Played 2 VPs -,-,-,-,-,1,-,-,2 rating 3038 John Eagles Played 7 VPs 0,3,0,0,-, 2, 0, 3,- rating 3030 Robert ["Billy"] Shread Played 5 VPs 0,0,3,0,0.5, -, -, -,- rating 2984 Anklebiter [Michael McClellan] Played 1 VPs -,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,0 rating 2971 Bleu [Philippe Richer] Played 1 VPs -,-,-,-,-,-,-,-,0 rating 2971 Anam ["Angel"] Sheader Played 4 VPs -,0,-,1,0.5, 0, -, - ,- rating 2954 John Lee Barber Played 5 VPs 0,-,-,-,0, 1, 1, 0,- rating 2937 Ian ["Snook"] Stubbington Played 4 VPs -,0,-,0,0.5, 0, -, - rating 2930 Alex Hughes Played 4 VPs -,-,-,-,-,0, 0, 0,0 rating 2925 Steve ["Squid"] Cantlow Played 6 VPs -,-,0,0,0.5, 0, 1, -,- rating 2916 [the VPs for the second game do not add up to 5 because i withdrew after ousting Ian - according to the Sabbat rules. Similarly, the VPs for round 6 do not add up to 8 because Steve withdrew, much to the annoyance of John]. This was a 6-player game, and just about as good as jyhad games get. When i started my final turn, i had ONE pool left. Two vampires got burned in combat - one of michael's, by mark, and one of steve's by Bleu. Bleu by the way was suffering from jet-lag and STILL put up a pretty scary performance. As usual with my deck it was Kendrick with AUS and superior Pulse who was the ultimate game-winner for me. Nice game, and looking forward immensely to saturday for the sealed-deck tournament! A couple of rules questions came up during this game, to which i don't REALLY know the answers. [1] Was it ok for Alex to use demonstration to cancel my Priscus's vote during the college vote, thus allowing Steve to vote 3 with him? We thought yes. [2] Does Alvaro untap after successfully calling a vote, even if the vote fails? We thought no. Except for Bleu, who invented the scheme. Sent via Deja.com http://www.deja.com/ Share what you know. We thought yes. Correct. If a vampire has his votes cancelled, he loses his vote(s), if any, in both the Prisci subreferendum as well as his vote(s), if any, in the main referendum. > [2] Does Alvaro untap after successfully calling a vote, > even if the vote fails? Perhaps you are thinking of Antonio: Antonio Delgado [SAB] - Vampire (Las) (9) * Antonio Delgado does not untap if the referendum isn't successful (doesn't pass).
