[the VPs for the second game do not add up to 5 because i
withdrew after ousting Ian - according to the Sabbat rules.
Similarly, the VPs for round 6 do not add up to 8 because
Steve withdrew, much to the annoyance of John].
This was a 6-player game, and just about as good as jyhad games get. When
i started my final turn, i had ONE pool left. Two vampires got burned in
combat - one of michael's, by mark, and one of steve's by Bleu. Bleu by
the way was suffering from jet-lag and STILL put up a pretty scary
performance. As usual with my deck it was Kendrick with AUS and superior
Pulse who was the ultimate game-winner for me. Nice game, and looking
forward immensely to saturday for the sealed-deck tournament!
A couple of rules questions came up during this game, to which i don't
REALLY know the answers.
[1] Was it ok for Alex to use demonstration to cancel my Priscus's vote
during the college vote, thus allowing Steve to vote 3 with him? We
thought yes.
[2] Does Alvaro untap after successfully calling a vote, even if the vote
fails? We thought no. Except for Bleu, who invented the scheme.
