Master cards, like Fame, are controlled by the Methuselah who played them
by default. You'd have to have had a change of control effect (like the
stealing of The Rack) or explicit card text that overrides the default
control (like on Regarhagan's Hold) for control of a master card to rest
with someone other than the Methuselah who played it. It could also be
that the owner is not the Methuselah who played the master card (due to,
for example, Agaitas's ability).
The more common example, however, is minion cards, like equipment, Pulled
Fangs, etc. Minion cards are controlled by the controller of the minion
they are on. So when you are ousted, any Pulled Fangs, Disarm, etc. that
your minions had played on other minions remain in play.
Default control is covered in 1.6.2 for master cards and 1.6.3 for minion
cards.
