Bright Idea #1: So if you play Conscripted Statue at VIC and then play Change of Target to untap Tupdog and cancel the action, does the Statue fight the blocker? Or does the Statue burn with no combat? The only reason I can think of to do this is if Tupdog's rush is blocked, and you would prefer to have him bleed for 1, or you have a rush action in hand that he can use to try again. But since the statue cycles nicely before combat at vic, it should never jam your hand. Bright Idea #2: The Anti-Turbo Tupdog Deck: You might actually want to do this if you've tooled Tupdog up a little bit with a For skill card... after Tupdog rushes, and assuming he doesn't die in the resulting combat, your token !Tremere calls Banishment. Tupdog is uncontrolled at the end of your minion phase, so he doesn't burn. He comes out for 1 pool, or none if he had a blood on him, then is all refreshed and ready to fight again, this time as a mighty 2-cap with POT-VIS-for! This vampire alone is going to make the pre-release a lot of fun, I think. :) - Pat P.S. So do we think he's going to be a Common, to ease the task of constructing the 30-Tupdog crypt?
