Scenario: Methuselah A's turn -Vampire A bleeds Methuselah B -Methuselah B's Vampire B plays an eagle's sight at superior and declines to block -Vampire B deflects the bleed to Methuselah C with a superior deflection -Methuselah C declines to block -Vampire B attempts to block This is legal right? thanks in advance, -D

[ quoted text not captured ] Vampire B has to attemt to block with Eagle's sight. He cannot decline.

However, playing a deflection is not synonomous to declining to block. So had Meth. B just played a deflection and not declined to block, he would have been allowed to block. BTW: Why did methuselah B bounce it in the first place? Did he play the eagle's sight hoping to get combat, but drew into deflection, so he played the deflection, but then drew into the combat he wanted, so decided to block? ~SV

So no, its not legal. ... that was before the Deflection. Once deflected, blocking opportunities reset. Eagle's Sight no longer gives a continuing effect, however, it just starts the block. Vampire B would have to play a new Eagle's Sight for this new block attempt. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. But Vampire B cannot play another Eagle Sight on the same action, right ? So the new blocking attempt cannot occur, IMHO (exept Falcon Eye or Anneke, of course...)
