Hi, do "Strike: Combat" ends and "Strike:Dodge" count as hand strikes? Or is it impossible to dodge after an Immortal Grapple has been played? Thx&Bye Philipp

Not unless they also do damage based on the striking minion's hand strikes. > Or is it impossible to dodge after an Immortal Grapple has been played? It is impossible to strike with anything other than a hand strike after an immortal grapple is played (until the following round, of course). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Strike: Combat Ends and Strike: Dodge are not hand strikes. p 41 of CE rulebook--(6.4.5): "Hand Strikes: The default strike is a hand strike. When a minion strikes with a hand strike at close range, he does an amount of damage equal to his strength to the opposing minion. Minions have a default strength of 1." S:CE and S:D don't do this, and thus aren't hand strikes. Pretty much the whole point of Immortal Grapple is that it stops S:CE and Strike Dodge. And don't forget that if it wasn't for errata, you could use a Stutter-Step under an Immortal Grapple (since it is both a hand strike *and* a dodge). Halcyan 2
