Hello, all. I have a brief question regarding chainsaws, shotguns, and other weapons which are only useable once per combat. Now, does that mean you can't press with them, or that they may only be ONE strike? Example: Vampire A is fighting Vampire B. Vampire A, using a chainsaw, inflicts three points of damage on B, and then presses. Vampire A cannot use the chainsaw again this round. Correct? Vampire A vs B. A uses a chainsaw on B, and then blurs, doing two more strikes. Can A still use the chainsaws for the other strikes this round, or only for the first strike? Another question, naturally. With regards to cards like carrion crows that aren't strikes, per se. Do they still inflict damage on enemies who use Strike: Combat Ends cards? Eg I have a Shadow Court Satyr (damn you, Lee!) with Earth Meld as its chosen strike card. If carrion crows are played, does the Satyr take damage from them before the combat ends?

Can A still use the chainsaws for the other strikes > this round, or only for the first strike? > Chainsaw Cost 2pool Weapon. 3 damage as a strike. Usable only once per combat. Gas-Powered Chainsaw Cost 1pool Melee Weapon. 3 damage as a strike only usable once each combat Talbot's Chainsaw Cost 3pool Unique weapon. 3 damage each strike. If bearer is ready during your untap phase, a ready minion you control takes 3 damage (damage not preventable). Bearer cannot hunt. Bearer may enter combat with any minion controlled by another Methusela as a +1 stealth (D) action. Bearer get a press, only usable to continue combat at the end of the first round, and may prevent up to 1 damage each combat. Combat Shotgun Weapon, Gun. Cost 3pool 3R damage each strike, only usable once each round. Sawed-off Shotgun Weapon, Gun. Cost 2pool 3R damage as a strike only usable once per combat. This should clear things up. Now, does that mean > you can't press with them, or that they may only be ONE strike? The latter. "Once per combat" is not the same as "during only one round". > Example: > > Vampire A is fighting Vampire B. Vampire A, using a chainsaw, > inflicts three points of damage on B, and then presses.
