From the rulings list: Faceless Night - Action Modifer (obf) * Faceless Night taps the (successful) blocker when the block is successful, as normal. (If the blocking minion wouldn't normally tap when he blocks, Faceless Night will still tap him.) If the acting minion uses a Change of Target, then the tapping effect of Faceless Night is undone by the Change of Target. If the Masking minion has OBF and could have legally played FN at superior, why is the effect undone? Why is it that other action mods are not also undone when the action is masked? Sorrow --- I told the priest - don't count on any second coming. God got his ass kicked the first time he came down here slumming. He had the balls to come, the gall to die and then forgive us. No, I don't wonder why, I wonder what he thought it would get us

Was asking about Change of target not mask 8^) But it was for devious mask purposes in the long run. Sorrow <cbo...@apdi.net> wrote in message news:EaIC5.4138$mC.2...@monger.newsread.com... [ quoted text not captured ]

Why is it that other action mods are not also undone when >the action is masked? ...the ruling is for Change of Target, not Mask of a Thousand Faces. Assume you have a Sports Bike. If Agrippina bleeds you, Faceless Nights you, and then Sheldon takes it over with Mask to add a 2nd stealth, you are still Facelessly Nit and will be tapped. (and NO grammar commentary, thankyousoverymuch.) If Agrippina bleeds you, FNs you, and suddenly realizes there's no more stealth in her hand and plays a Change of Target, then the action is *cancelled* - so FN is as if it was never played. -- Derek "Ignorance more frequently begets confidence than does knowledge." - C. FN still taps the blocker, and Change of Target untaps him (card text). See the article cited in the ruling: http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=482365261 [ quoted text not captured ]
