I live up in Indiana and a friend of mine recently came
down to southern Indiana where I live from our beautiful capital of
Indianapolis and told me a nasty rumor about Jyhad...
He said that he was in a gaming store and saw that they were
selling boosters for $2.25 a pack and starters 2 for the price of
one....Why you might ask???? He said it was becuase Wotc and White Wolf
had split up and that there would be no more sets...revised or expansions
and therefore the value of the cards is dropping.
Has anyone heard this rumor....if so let me know...and PLEASE
tell me it's not true. You have no idea how much i'd like someone to
tell me I'm a liar!!!!

Do not believe rumors. Ever. ("Rumors are treason"...wait wrong game.)
You have access to the .net, the singlemost best source to spread
rumors nationwide instantly. Count up all the rumors or "truths
people heard from someone they can't remember" and see how many
actually have a shred of truth.

Well, now, this is, in fact, not true. Why you might ask?
First, WotC and WW were never together, despite what people think. They
had a contract to produce one card game, Jyhad. Now WW is going to produce
a card game based on their other RPG, Werewolf. That game will be called
Rage. However, there will be at least one expansion for Jyhad, as has been
announced.
My best bet? The store had too many, and they weren't selling well.
But I'm guessing.

You're a liar. :} No, just -never- believe a rumor. Trust us magic geeks
("I know for a fact they'll be taking Serras out of Revised!") I've never
heard a rumor and found it to be true later.

Nothing has been announced to this effect. I'm not sure where the
retailer would have gotten this impression.
