Hi, I know this may sound silly, but I thought it would be interesting to see the results, even if I could assume the answer already. Could Kraken's Kiss be considered as a "Hand Strike", even at long range, for the purpose of playing Chiropteran Marauder? Here we have strength damage that could be considered hand strikes if at close range, usually (see Blood Rage per example). But the strength damage is at long ranged this time. GP41

No. No ranged strike could ever be qualified as a Hand Strike. Kraken kiss is no exception. reyda

[ quoted text not captured ] I believe I'm right in saying that just because something inflicts 'strength' damage, it does not automatically make it a hand strike. A hand strike is a strength based, close ranged, non weapon strike or something to those words. So, no, you can't aggravate the damage with Chiroptean Marauder. Marty

[ quoted text not captured ] Correct. A hand strike is, by definition, non-ranged. A ranged strike, therefore, is not a hand strike. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
