Go to
http://www.ugcs.caltech.edu/~justinf/jyhad/
Various things there. Justin Fang's e-mail address (I won't put it here
so he doesn't get buckets of spam), links to the states of playtest
games, card lists for the new cards (with texts etc), discipline match
list (for all, including new, vamps) and so on.
People argue over the cards and suggest new ones on a mailing list run
by Justin Fang (so e-mail him if you want to join).
The aim is to get them into a state where they can be put forward as
JOL's own cards which anyone can use and (the following is a pipe dream)
get some form of official recognition from Wizards if they can't be
bothered to print a new expansion.
If you want details on Jyhad On-Line, go to
http://deckserver.net
Follow the link to Jyhad On-Line and then you can see house rules,
deckserver commands and the like. All the cards in your deck are held
at the "deckserver" which you access with e-mail commands and basically
you play a game of Jyhad by e-mail (and they can be surprisingly quick -
one of them ones I'm on at the moment is just on its ninth time round
the table and two players just fell, one after the other (to a bleed and
having to *put* a pool on Smiling Jack, not burn pool for him)).
You can see the game states and histories by clicking on the links to
JOLXX, PlaytestX, JOLTXX (the tournament) or whatever.
If you can get access to e-mail a couple of times a day (or just think,
well, this isn't going to bother me at the moment so I'll only go on
once a day at the moment and wait for stuff to affect me (eg my
predator's turn) before I carry on). Normal Jyhad On-Line, using the
actual printed cards, has 8 players on a table (so Conservative
Agitation can be very useful ;). The Playtest games (run (moderated) by
people who are on the playtest list) normally have 6 players but there
is an 8 player game about to start (Chris Berger) and a four player one
will be got ready in a couple of weeks (run by, er, me).
