Alternative Hunt actions

Two quick questions about the new "Hunt action" action cards: - If I hunt, get blocked, play Change of Target, can I now Hunt with one of the Hunt Action cards, since it is not the same action? (Probably yes, which is cool) - Do the hunt actions override any hunt-restricting effects? Specifically: * If Week of Nightmares is in play, and a Laibon Ravnos plays Earth-Feeder, must he still steal a blood from another Ravnos, or does this card's "Hunt" text refer to the default hunt action? * If Legacy of Caine is on an Ahrimanes, can she hunt with Vulture's Buffet instead of the Legacy of Caine hunt action? and * If Week of Nightmares is in play, can a Ravnos with obfuscate or spiritus play Vulture's Buffet (assuming there's a legal target in an ash heap)? Thanks.

There is no limit to the number of hunt actions a vampire can take in a turn, with or without action cards (your question seems to imply that you think that there is - please note that there is no general NRA rule in VTES). > - Do the hunt actions override any hunt-restricting effects? No. They are just special cases of "Hunting", and fall under the same general effects that may be in play. Hardy Range

No. Change of Target states that the minion may not take the same action again. Whether it is card driven or not, a hunt action is a hunt action and thus not allowed via card text.

(Probably > yes, which is cool) Yes. It is a different hunt action, so not the same action (which would be prohibited by CoT). Similarly, if blocked equipping a Flak Jacket, you could Change of Target and attempt a different equip action, like equipping with a Sengir Dagger. > - Do the hunt actions override any hunt-restricting effects? The Laibon Ravnos can hunt by stealing from a Ravnos via WoN, or may use any of the alternative hunt actions, by card text. > * If Legacy of Caine is on an Ahrimanes, can she hunt with Vulture's > Buffet instead of the Legacy of Caine hunt action? Yes. I'll see that LoC is updated to match the clearer template used by WoN. > and > > * If Week of Nightmares is in play, can a Ravnos with obfuscate or > spiritus play Vulture's Buffet (assuming there's a legal target in an > ash heap)? Yes. -- That is my story, be it bitter or be it sweet. Keep a little and let a little come back to me. Well, we thought it differently when we asked the question earlier tonight, hence my confident post, but it does make more sense in this light.
