Buying card techniques

Although I now have about 2000 cards I am only fairly small time because I buy my packs singly from the shops and they cost: Jyhad starter ~ 5.99 VtES starter ~ 6.99 VtES booster ~ 1.99 Dark Sovs. ~ 1.79 A Hearts ~ 1.50 (All costs in Pounds Sterling and available in Manchester from Virgin Megastore or Game.) (Exchange rate here is ~ 1 Pound = 1.50 US dollars.) Does anyone know any better way to buy over here? I've checked one mail order shop and they were just as expensive. There is a lot of talk about 'boxes' of boosters - how many booster packs are in a box? By the way - how small time is 2000 cards? How many cards do the 'big boys' like L Scott, Alex Chang etc. have? Out here in Los Angeles Jyhad prices got so incrediably low ($.50 for a booster) we bought tons of cards. I probably have over 12,000. Steve Bucy

I'm still not sure about buying Sabbat for my collection. I'm in the UK (Birmingham). There is a shop in Birmingham called Dungeon's & Starships. They sell boxes of boosters with a 20% discount. (tel: 0121 643 6008). But by far the best is mail order from the states. I got an address from the Duelist and managed to get a company in New York to ship Jyhad boxes for around $35 each including shipping. They came through pretty quick too. Mel.
