Masters like Week of Nightmares, Festivo... and Tajid state they can only be played once in a game. Does this mean if they are Suddened, that they have been played (Sudden Reversal says "Burn a Master card... as it is being played...") so another one cannot be played at all that game? Also with Giants Blood, if it is Suddened he first time it is playe in a game, does this mean that any future attempts to play it will result in no benefit (other than shifting a card)? I.E. no on gets the "top up"? Cheers DH

[ quoted text not captured ] Correct. If the card (Giant's Blood, etc). gets Suddened, it can't be played again (by card text of the other copies). Not only are additional copies of the Giant's Blood useless, but you cannot even play them (to cycle them). Card text prevents you from playing it (even if for no effect). This also applies to other cards (non-master) that are limited to once per game. If Ancient Influence or Political Stranglehold is blocked or delayed, it cannot be played again. If a Reality Mirror is cancelled (via DI or Watenda's ability), it cannot be played again. Sorry! But as you said it yourself, there can be only one...and it shall not be you! =P Halcyan 2

Correct (new card text in V:TES makes this different than Jyhad versions would suggest). > This also applies to other cards (non-master) that are limited to once per > game. Action cards are played at the start of the action. Blocking the action doesn't undo that. [ quoted text not captured ]

See force of will. Even if you are blocked, the "game's central RAM" ;) remembers that you've played this action card before blocking occurs.

The fact that the card is played is "remembered" if it has been played, yes. This is completely unrelated to the type of card (action or whatever), whether the action effected by the card (if any) is blocked, or anything else. A card played is played. Therefore, (some) cards can be blocked. ;) Flux
