Just curious about this. Is there anything preventing me of tapping Zelios to pay the cost for someone elses location as they play it? Camarilla Primogen: If Zelios is ready, you may tap him to pay the pool cost of a location with his blood instead. +1 strength.

From reading the text litterally it seemed like part of the meaning of the text was to overwrite exactly that rule. Am I the only one seeing it like that? Especially since similar abilities are normally referred to more specifically in relation to things you play. Baldesar Rossellini, 8, aus for nec DOM POT, Giovanni, 4, [Gehenna:U] Independent: Once each turn, if Baldesar is ready, he can reduce the cost of a location or of an equipment YOU PLAY by 1 pool or blood. +1 strength. It doesnt seem consistent. No biggie though. Who wants to pay for other's location anyway!

It is consistent now -- we no longer use the "you play" template because the cost reducers / substituters can be used on the costs you pay even for cards that aren't played in the normal fashion.
