Two questions for which I couldn't find any answer in rulebooks and ruling archives... 1) Rat's Warning: Agrippina is bleeding me. my Badger is untapped and my Wynn is tapped. Wynn has a Raven Spy but I have no way to increase Badger's Intercept. Can I use Rat's Warning to untap Wynn and declare that Badger is attempting to block ? If Agrippina increases her Stealth, I'd block with Wynn but I prefer to keep him ready to block a stealthy action later. In other words, does the vampire playing Rat's Warning have to block the bleed ? 2) Enhanced Senses Agrippina is bleeding me at +1 Stealth. I use Enhanced Senses on Lazarus. Can I use the superior version ? I read in previous posts that one can't use superior Bonding if the blocker doesn't have +1 Intercept when Bonding is declared. Thanks for your answers... == Herve Guillemet INSERM U66 Intuisys

Perfectly legal. Gangrel excel in untapping - one of their strengths. Nothing says that you have to block with Wynn, merely that you must be being bled to use the Rats Warning. IMHO, This is not unbalanced, because you couldn't pull the same trick if your predator was trying to call a vote on you or nail Badger with a stealthed Bums Rush... : 2) Enhanced Senses : Agrippina is bleeding me at +1 Stealth. : I use Enhanced Senses on Lazarus. Can I use the superior version ? You may only use one _card_ to increase intercept, but you may overdo the intercept you need if you can. You could not play an Enhanced Senses and a Spirit's Touch at this point, because as soon as you played one of them you would have all the intercept you needed. : I read in previous posts that one can't use superior Bonding if the : blocker doesn't have +1 Intercept when Bonding is declared. Almost. You can't use the superior version if he doesn't have as much intercept as you have stealth. Thus, you could use sup. bonding on a zero-stealth bleed that he was trying to block. Shane H.W. Rat's Warning is just an untap in response to a bleed if you had 7 Rat's Warnings and 7 tapped vampires all of them could untap in response to the bleed, and none of them are obligated to block. >2) Enhanced Senses >Agrippina is bleeding me at +1 Stealth. >I use Enhanced Senses on Lazarus. I thought that you could increase stealth/intercept by more than one if only one card was played and that card gave more than one point of stealth/intercept, but I'll have to check the rules. I wouldn't be suprised if it was ruled the other way though.

No. You untap with Rat's Warning. Anything else you do is up to you. You could even untap multple vampires with multiple Rat's Warnings, and block with none of them. >2) Enhanced Senses >Agrippina is bleeding me at +1 Stealth. >I use Enhanced Senses on Lazarus. You can't use intercept if you don't need it, but you may play +2 when you only need +1. (same thing for stealth). -- L. Regardless of the amount of Stealth/Intercept that one card gives, when you may need some more, you may play one card and use it to it's full effectiveness. Examples follow. I tap Didi Myers to bleed my prey with a Govern the Unaligned. He taps Masika to block. I now have a blocker at the same level of intercept that I have stealth S / I 0 / 0 As actor I may play one card to add stealth I choose to play a lost in crowds 2 / 0 Now the blocker may add Intercept He plays a Spirits Touch 2 / 1 Since his Int is still too low, he may play anothe card he plays a Enhanced sense at SUP for +2 int 2 / 3 Now I have a chance to add stealth So I play Stealth card "A" for +1 stealth 3 / 3 And I am still able to play another card since the S&I are equal now. So now I play the SUPER STEALTH CARD for +10 stealth 13 / 3 I have now increased My stealth beyond the INT, so I can add no stealth cards. My prey looks and thinks about how much int he can add, and realizes he can't get 10 more int, so he Announces a Deflection from Masika. His prey looks at the 13 Stealth still in effect and goes Ouch. Hope ths helps Stu -- "Calvin, we will not have an anatomically correct snowman."

If someone has +1 stealth, you can use a +2 Intercept card to block, and another +1 stealth card won't circumvent you. Similarly, you can have -1 Stealth, so if something happens to subtract from your stealth when you don't have any, it will still be counted. Ritaxis --
