Hello fellow Jyhad/Vtes players. I started playing this
wonderful game a few months ago, and some questions have popped up. I
apologize in advance if these Q's have been gone over before. I am
new to the game, and new to this newsgroup. Please be patient.
Q1. A Meth. employs Charnas the imp and places him on one of his
prey's vampires. During the prey's turn, a Far Mastery is played to
gain control of Charnas, and it is successful. Can the new controller
of Charnas place Charnas on a new vampire, or is Charnas stuck where
he is until that vampire is burned?
Q2. If a gun does 3R normally, and dragon breath rounds are played to
add 2 agg. to the damage, is the total damage now 5 agg? or do you
minus the 3R first, and then subtract the 2 agg, or vice versa?
Q3. Does or Does not stealing blood burn a vampire if all the blood
is stolen from it? And if so, is the vampire burned if it had no
blood to steal before the strike was played?
Q4. Can or can't a vampire perform the same action twice in a round
if he/she was blocked on the first attempt at the action. Example:
I send in Camille Devereaux (Gangrel, cap 5) to bleed my prey.
Ozmo attempts to block. I play an Earth Control (sup) to give Camille
+2 stealth. Ozmo counters with Enhanced Senses and blocks
successfully. Range is kept close, Ozmo strikes with a Dodge,
Cammille strikes with an Earth Meld (sup) :Combat ends, untap this
vampire. Can Camille now continue with the bleed action? Or would it
be considered a new action altogether, prohibited because of not being
able to perform the same action twice? If she can continue with the
bleed, does she still have the +2 stealth she gained from Earth
Control?
Thank's for all who submit responses to these Q's.

Well, actually, the prey, being the controller of the vampire that
controls Charnas, already controls Charnas, so he can't Master him. If
someone else did, Charnas would be moved to them.

3R first, then 2 agg R. Aggravated damage is always resolved after any
regular damage done by the same source, and DBR says it adds 2 agg, not
adds 2 and all damage is agg.
>Q3. Does or Does not stealing blood burn a vampire if all the blood

Once and for all, stealing blood can't burn a vampire in the Advanced
Game.

No Repeat Actions are allowed, whether or not the action is blocked or
Masked. In fact, if Vamp A takes an action and Masks it to Vamp B,
neither vampire may repeat the action.

Correct. (D) actions (like Far Mastery) cannot target cards that you
control, unless indicated by card text (Rampage).

Correct. Aggravated damage is resolved after normal damage that occurs
at the same time, regardless of source (e.g., Wolf Companion)

True. This is errata to the VtES rulebook.

Correct,

This was my initial ruling. So I apologize for misleading you.
The Rules Team corrected me, however: only the minion who is the
acting minion when the action resolves is considered to have
performed the action (for purposes of No Repeat Actions). Only
that minion is prohibited from attempting the same type of action
again.
