hello all! if a vampire has 0 blood it have to hunt as first action or he can hunt after another minion/s action? if a vampire has 0 blood and hunts, is blocked and plays a combat ends and untap, he needs to hunt again, but it can't make the same action again, what occurs then? can be various equal unique master in play at the same time? for example, various path of metamorphosis. if a vampire inflicts succesfully aggravated and no-aggravated damage in combat to a minion can this minion select what kind of damage absorvs first? for example 2 aggravated and 2 non-aggravated, i play a skin of rock to absorv the 2 aggravated and only lost 2 blood from the normal one. bye!!! Mandatory actions must be taken first. [LSJ 11-27-2000] If at any time during your minion phase you have an untapped minion with no blood, your next action must be for that vampire to hunt. http://www.deja.com/getdoc.xp?AN=698219373 > if a vampire has 0 blood and hunts, is blocked and plays a combat ends > and untap, he needs to hunt again, but it can't make the same action > again, what occurs then? He stays untapped and is unable to take any actions that minion phase. At this point, the rest of your minions may act. > can be various equal unique master in play at the same time? for > example, various path of metamorphosis. No. Unique means Unique. Only one copy of any unique card may be in play at a time. See the rulebook, page 8, 13, 19. See also 1.6.1.4 "Uniqueness: If a card is identified as 砥nique," then only one copy of that card can be in play at a time. If a second copy is brought into play, the copies will be contested (and out of play) until all but one is yielded (see Contested Cards, sec. 4.1)." http://lasombra.tripod.com/rulebook.htm#page_13 > if a vampire inflicts succesfully aggravated and no-aggravated damage > in combat to a minion can this minion select what kind of damage > absorvs first? for example 2 aggravated and 2 non-aggravated, i play a > skin of rock to absorv the 2 aggravated and only lost 2 blood from the > normal one. All of the damage resolves at the same time, with non-aggravated damage applied first to maximize the chances of burning the vampire. You may prevent any of the damage with appropriate cards, you do not have to prevent the non-aggravated damage before the aggravated damage. See 6.4.6 of the rulebook and page 42: http://lasombra.tripod.com/rulebook.htm#6.4.6 Carpe Noctem. Can I get confirmation of this? My group has been playing since the beginning and we were under the impression that regular damage had to be healed first before aggravated damage was healed.. maybe we should get out more :) > > if a vampire inflicts succesfully aggravated and no-aggravated damage > > in combat to a minion can this minion select what kind of damage > > absorvs first? for example 2 aggravated and 2 non-aggravated, i play a > > skin of rock to absorv the 2 aggravated and only lost 2 blood from the > > normal one. > > All of the damage resolves at the same time, with non-aggravated > damage applied first to maximize the chances of burning the vampire. > You may prevent any of the damage with appropriate cards, you do not > have to prevent the non-aggravated damage before the aggravated damage. > Jason

Aggravated damage cannot be healed. Damage sone simultaneously may be prevented in any order. Damage not prevented is handled by first handling normal damage (burning blood to heal or become wounded) and then by handling the aggravated damage (becoming wounded and, if wounded already, burning a blood to prevent destruction or be burned). > maybe we should get out more :) > > > > if a vampire inflicts succesfully aggravated and no-aggravated damage > > > in combat to a minion can this minion select what kind of damage > > > absorvs first? for example 2 aggravated and 2 non-aggravated, i play a > > > skin of rock to absorv the 2 aggravated and only lost 2 blood from the > > > normal one. > > > > All of the damage resolves at the same time, with non-aggravated > > damage applied first to maximize the chances of burning the vampire. > > You may prevent any of the damage with appropriate cards, you do not > > have to prevent the non-aggravated damage before the aggravated damage. > > > > Jason > > -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) VTES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Not only is The Lasombra, and LSJ's word gospel, it's actually stated in the rulebook. 6.4.6 ... "If a vampire recieves both regular and aggravated damage at the same time, regular damage is handled first." Note that when it says at the same time, all damage from all sources during the current strike are applied at the same time in the strike resolution phase. > > My group has been playing since the beginning and we were under the > > impression that regular damage had to be healed first before aggravated > > damage was healed.. > > > > maybe we should get out more :) > > > > > > if a vampire inflicts succesfully aggravated and no-aggravated damage > > > > in combat to a minion can this minion select what kind of damage > > > > absorvs first? for example 2 aggravated and 2 non-aggravated, i play a > > > > skin of rock to absorv the 2 aggravated and only lost 2 blood from the > > > > normal one. > > > > > > All of the damage resolves at the same time, with non-aggravated > > > damage applied first to maximize the chances of burning the vampire. > > > You may prevent any of the damage with appropriate cards, you do not > > > have to prevent the non-aggravated damage before the aggravated damage. > > > > > > > > > Jason > > > > > > [ quoted text not captured ]
