OK heres the situation , Dragos and Wynn are going at it wynn plays Carrion crows, Torn Sign post Etc,etc, etc Dragos turns around and plays Blood of Acid now does the Carrion crows deal aggro dmg back to Wynn or not, there is the debate going on in our group right now, some feel they should deal the aggro dmg and some feel they are not included in the Blood of acids dmg dealing. I am yet undecided, Anyone care to ponder?? Errol T

[ quoted text not captured ] Blood of Acid Combat Vicissitude 2 blood Normal: Only usable at close range before strikes are chosen. During strike resolution, the opposing minion takes an amount of damage equal to the damage he or she successfully inflicts. Superior: As above, but the damage is aggravated. Carrion Crows Combat Animalism Normal: Only usable before range is chosen. Opposing minion takes 1R each round of combat during strike resolution. A vampire can only play one Carrion Crows each combat. Superior: As above, but with 2R damage. --- Wynn is using the Crows to inflict damage on Dragos, so that damage would indeed be included in the total which Blood to Acid deals to Wynn. There may eventually be errata stating that the Carrion Crows' damage is not considered coming from the vampire (similar to the ruling on retainers which deal damage). Such errata would keep the Crows' damage from counting for things like Pulled Fangs, Blood of Acid, etc. But, the errata doesn't exist yet. -- L. I would consider it similar to a temporary retainer, like a double strength Murder of Crows, or perhaps similar to Drawing out the Beast but damage is inflicted during strike resolution. Blood of Acid says the damage the opposing minion inflicts, I would say that the damage done by drawing out the Beast, retainers, et al. would not be considered to be _inflicted_ by the opposing minion, but rather _caused_ by the opposing minion. Damage inflicted would be things like hand strikes, weapons... Anything else? Pulled Fangs wouldn't count since it is determined after strike resolution. This would make it similar to the ruling for pulled fangs. The real question is "Is the damage from Carrion Crows inflicted by the minion?". Rules Team??? (aka. LSJ :-) -- Jeffrey Endres Undergrad B.
