during a combat, a vampire play majesty at superior (to end combat and
untap) and the other walk of flame+Rotschreck. The majesty vampire is
sent to torpor. The question: is he tapped or not?
Thanks a lot

Tapped. Rotschreck takes effect before strikes resolve, so the Majesty
does not take effect.

Of course Colin is correct, but note that Rotschreck taps the vampire
as well, by card text.

Correct.

I would say, that this is a tricky one.
Majesty ends combat and untaps the vampire "before combat ends", it is
not a regular strike, it is a s:ce. Rotschreck is also a CE effect.
so in my oppinion i would say, that the vampire untaps from majesty
(like if both combatants play a majesty, they both untap, because CE
strikes resolve at the same time), BUT ends up tapped because of
Rotschreck card text "...this vampire is tapped..."
just my opinion
P.S. what happens if i am the acting minion and i end combat (e.g. via
sup alpha glint), can the opposing minion play any before range stuff
like illusions of the kindred ? i think not, but i'd like an official
answer.

You can argue with LSJ all you want. =P

But it is still a strike. Notice the "S" in "S:CE".

But not a strike. This is key.

Striking is divided up into three phases: strike declaration, strike
resolution, and then damage handling. Rotschreck takes place during
strike declaration. Before strike resolution. Therefore, none of the
strikes go off -- if the opponent used, eg, a Flash Grenade, the other
minion (if a vampire) would not tap, an Oubliette would not do the point
of damage, etc.

Correct. Once you play superior Alpha Glint, combat is over (barring
Psyche! or Telepathic Tracking, as usual).
