Hello LSJ, Vamp A1 calls a political action, Vamp B tries to block. Vamp A2 plays Siren's Lure. No more blocks are declared. Can Yawp Court be used at this time? I believe no, because a combat is already queued. If yes, can Vamp B be the one to do it (assuming he finds a way to untap first) ? I believe moot, but sure. If yes, and Vamp B ends up in torpor after the combat, then what happens with the Siren's Lure combat? I believe this exemplifies why the first answer is no, but in case I'm wrong, I'd say that the Siren's Lure combat fizzles and nothing happens. Thanks, Ira Siren's Lure [cel] This vampire burns 2 blood to get +1 stealth. [mel] Only usable by an untapped ready vampire other than the acting minion when a minion attempts to block. That minion cannot block this action. Tap this vampire and that minion. Once the action resolves, this vampire enters combat with that minion. [MEL] As above, but do not tap this modifying vampire. Yawp Court Master: unique location. Requires a ready Sabbat vampire. Tap when a political action is successful, before the referendum, to have a ready untapped Sabbat vampire you control tap and enter combat with the acting vampire. If the acting vampire is still ready at the end of combat, the Sabbat vampire takes 2 damage, and the referendum is conducted as normal.

Look at it this way: If another block was declared and succeeded, the combat resulting from that block is not annulled because of the pending Siren's Lure combat. The existence of 'there will be a combat later' due to Siren's Lure doesn't pre-empt any other combats during the action - especially since that combat by definition doesn't occur until after the action (and all of its resultant combats) resolves. > If yes, can Vamp B be the one to do it (assuming he finds a way to > untap first) ? I believe moot, but sure. I'd think that Vamp B absolutely could be the one to do it. > If yes, and Vamp B ends up in torpor after the combat, then what > happens with the Siren's Lure combat? Vampires in torpor can't be in combat, so yes, it'd fizzle. > Thanks, > Ira > > Siren's Lure > [cel] This vampire burns 2 blood to get +1 stealth. > [mel] Only usable by an untapped ready vampire other than the acting > minion when a minion attempts to block. Sure (assuming, as you say, that he finds some way to really untap so that Yawp Court can target him). >> If yes, and Vamp B ends up in torpor after the combat, then what >> happens with the Siren's Lure combat?
