Revised Rules:
Dodge. A Dodge strike deals no damage, but it protects the dodging minion
and his possessions from the effects of the opposing strike.
V:TES Rules:
Dodge: A "dodge" deals no damage, but it prevents the effect of the
opponent's strike that round.
It seems clear that the dodging minion is protected from the (entire)
effect of the opposing strike.

The card doesn't specify a restriction, so it can be used to give
your prey's vampire (who successfully hunts) an additional blood.
