Undead Persistence - for (using at minor)
Prevent this vampire from going into torpor. This vampire gets an
optional press. When combat ends, or if 3 rounds of combat pass with no
cards played, this vampire is sent into torpor.
I use the card because my vampire is being sent to Torpor with 0 blood
while in combat.
Questions are:
In the next round of combat, if my Vampire takes unpreventable damage
(non-ag) does it go to torpor?
In the next round of combat, if my Vampire takes a point of Aggravated
damage, is it burned immediately? Or does combat still continue?
I think I already know the answers, but would like clarification.
Thanks,

No. Card text on Undead Persistence prevents the vampire from going
to torpor until three rounds have passed with no cards played or
until combat ends (whichever comes first).

He is burned. Undead Persistence only staves off going to torpor,
not burning.

Ah. I had a weenie Fortitude combat deck which relied on
dominate and Comp. Hacking to bleed and Traps and Undead
Persistences to remain in combat long after my vampires should
have been torpored with no return.
Unfortunately, the deck was huge and there weren't enough
little guys with Fortitude to go around. It was fun while it
lasted, though. I think I managed to take out Arika with Lazar
Dobrescu and a Bang Nakh.

But maybe that was the Ravnos deck.

Just make sure you have enough regular damage prevention cards
such as Skin of Rock to prevent aggravated damage. Otherwise
commonly used cards such as Claws of the Dead and Burning Wrath
will easily burn your vampires.
I often use decks similair to yours in that there are many
small vampires with fortitude. Sometimes I put in a few
medium-sized Ventrue with Dominate: then you can use
Deflection and Govern the Unaligned for bleed defence and
bringing out some vampires faster.

Another good Fortitude idea is Dawn Operation to make it aggravated, Skin
of Steel to prevent the damage, and then Amaranth to waste them. Sure,
you lose a few vamps in the process, but your opponent loses bigger vamps.
In games with larger number of players it doesn't last to long

No. The damage will not send your vampire to topor until combat is over.

UP does not protect against burning.
