Charles Keith-Stanley Cyberspace Liaison Wizards of the Coast were...@wizards.com lia...@wizards.com ------------------------------------------------ DECKMASTER ARTIST GUIDELINES What We're Looking For Wizards of the Coast is looking for artists with a unique style that represents the world of Magic: The Gathering, Vampire and Netrunner. Skillful use of your chosen medium in combination with imaginative concepts is desired. The ability to skillfully render the human anatomy is also strongly desired. Submission Guidelines Submissions should consist of 6 to 10 finished full color pieces. These can be in the form of slides, photographs, tear sheets or samples. No original art work please. If you are submitting art work in the form of color copies, send high quality copies only. Also include a cover letter with a telephone number and a SASE. Including a resume is optional. Sending Submissions Magic and Vampire submissions should be sent to the attention of Sandra Everingham and Netrunner submissions to the attention of Christopher Rush at the following address: Wizards of the Coast PO Box 707 Renton, WA 98057 For questions, call Sandra Everingham or Chris Rush at (206) 226-6500.

Sorry to belabor the obvious, but you are *really* exxagerating here. WotC has said that the Jyhad art won't be changing; and in the new magic, they buckled on a couple of cards (really, only Demonic Hordes and Unholy strength - I think the black Ante cards were doomed anyway) but also left in much that might be considered offensive. They've given an inch - so if you think that's bad, post about how it's a slippery slope, that soon anything cutting will be eliminated from the art...but there's no point in exxagerating what's been done recently - it's only 2 (or 4 depending on how you count it) cards out of a large set of cards.
