With Sunset Strip: "Tap to give all vampires +1 stealth on hunt actions until your next untap phase." If you're ousted before your next untap phase, are all hunt actions permanently at an additional +1 stealth? Looking at the ruling on Parmenides, I'd say it's true. http://groups.google.com/group/rec.games.trading-cards.jyhad/msg/9053b7e14b9da0f9 -- salem (replace 'hotmail' with 'yahoo' to email)

The card doesn't say "Whilst tapped, vampires get +1 stealth to hunt", it merely sets a game condition which is not dependant upon the card. Same would go for if the Sunset Strip was burned via Arson, Rampage etc. --> J grail_pbem "at" hotmail.com

Unless ousted, the controlling Methuselah will eventually get their untap phase, thus ending the effect. Chris, Thrall of Arika

It shouldn't - when I was typing the reply that LSJ said was correct, I got distracted half way through. LSJ probably just skimmed through my comments. The Game state should be reset in the untap phase as per the specific card text. [ quoted text not captured ]

LSJ

[ quoted text not captured ] Right. As per your comments. Burning the Sunset Strip doesn't end the effect. The effect ends (only) when the Methuselah gets to her untap phase. It is, as you say, not dependent on the card being in play.

[ quoted text not captured ] But if the Metuselah is ousted and he used the effect, there wouldn't be a "next untap phase"

[ quoted text not captured ] Indeed. Exactly as LSJ wrote. Cheers, Bram
