It's only half true. Carrion Crows deals damage during strike resoltion.
The damage isn't from a strike, so won't be circumvented by a Dodge.
But it does occur only during strike resolution, so S:CE will preclude
that damage.
Add in some Drawing Out the Beasts and (at superior) you'll have your
"damage to the S:CE'er".
