Earlier, I successfully played a Persistent Echo and put a Choir face down underneath it. Later, I have a vampire burn Persistent Echo to take the Choir action. If that action is blocked, is the Persistent Echo still burned (does the burning happen immediately?), is the Choir underneath burned? If the card underneath is a combat card, action modifier or reaction card, does the burning of Persistent Echo and the playing of the card happen all at once? Can the card being played via Persistent Echo be cancelled with Direct Intervention? I saw a post about Echo of Harmonies and the Political Action was not burned if the action was blocked. Is that still true with the new text of Echo of Harmonies? Thanks. Later, ~Rehlow Persistent Echo +1 stealth action [aus]: Untap a vampire with Melpominee [mel]: Put this card in play and put a card that requires Melpominee on this card face down. You may look at the card at any time. Any vampire you control may burn this card to play the card on it as if from your hand and as if he or she had basic Melpominee. [MEL]: As above, and the vampire may play the card as if he or she had superior Melpominee. Sorry, but I don't have access to the new Echo of Harmonies text.

"As if played from your hand" accomplishes this. > I saw a post about Echo of Harmonies and the Political Action was not > burned if the action was blocked.
