Failure of ISP to forward newsgroup messages to appropriate servers. www.mailgate.org shows that you have posted in response to the following threads since January 2nd, 2004: Need Help with Newsgroup Ohio vs. Michigan Bash! I'd figure that you are doing something wrong accidentally--maybe e-mailing them to the author instead of posting to the newsgroup, or possibly something is configured incorrectly. Or maybe you are hitting "post later" without realizing it, and they are sitting in your outbox still. Can anyone walk me through it. I have news.cis.dfn.ne set up as my newsserver but Outlook Express says that it cannot find it. Comments Welcome, Norman S. Brown, Jr XZealot Archon of the Swamp

It's actually: http://news.cis.dfn.de (as in Germany/Deutschland) And in fact it seems to have been renamed "recently" to the news.individual.net that Dave Cherryholmes mentioned - apparently they are the same thing. http://news.individual.net/ has instructions on signing up for an account. Josh got on coupe's free news bandwagon some time ago

[ quoted text not captured ] Replace the ".ne" with ".de". You also have to register first (at the http://... site) in order to get a username and password (which is required by the newsserver in order to cut down on spam). If it doesn't work at .de, try with another newsreader to verify that it isn't a configuration problem with Outlook (like Netscape or whatever). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Peter, My posts have shown up to me almost immediately, although they don't appear to show up to anyone else, although, if true, you won't see this message, David "Peter D Bakija" <pd...@lightlink.com> wrote in message news:BC4C219F.13AC6%pd...@lightlink.com... [ quoted text not captured ]
