My latest question is this:
The V:TES version of Uirah Winter says: "if your prey has more pool than
you do at the beginning of your untap phase, your prey takes control of
Uriah."
How does this tie in with Untap effects? Does it happen first (ie before
Uriah untaps) or after all your vampires have untapped but before any other
Untap effects?
Basically, if I control Uriah and he is tapped in my untap, and I pass him to
my Prey, does he untap during my untap or not? (Visions of a permanently
tapped Uriah spiralling round the gaming table)

Untapping your cards is always the first thing that happens during
your untap phase. Uriah defects after this.
