Elemental Stoicism, multi-discipline question

I am curious if Elemental Stoicism is a misprint or if the "superior" is intended to require superior fortitude and only inferior obfuscate. If it isn't a misprint, why deviate from the template that the other multi-discipline cards use? It's not really that big of a deal, just something I noticed and thought was curious about.
