Hi! I have two questions: 1. Are cards like Bone Spurs, Wolf Claws etc. played before strikes are chosen or after choosing strikes? 2. The Errata for 2nd Tradition: Domain reads: "..., can be used to untap and attempt to block..." does this mean the Vampire has to block or should it read "may attempt to block" (in other words can you play redirection and that sort of cards in combination with 2nd Tradition)?. Thanks in advance, Simon

They can be played in either BUT for them to count for this damage dealing step, you have to play them after strikes are chosen but before damage is resolved. > > 2. Errata: Requires ready Prince or Justicar. +2 intercept. Also usable by a tapped Prince or Justicar, even if intercept is not yet needed, to untap and attempt to block with +2 intercept. The vampire *has* to block - since they either need the intercept (first case) or are compelled to block in the second case. -- James Coupe

Either, so long as they are played before strike resolution begins. > 2. The vampire has to attempt to block. If the acting minion stealths by him, he is free to play deflection or whatnot. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) V:TES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast.
