This is a reminder that coming up on Saturday - The Sabbat War Pre-Release Party here in Atlanta! Date of the event: Sat. Oct. 28th, 2000 Schedule of events: Registration is: 11:30am with the events starting at noon. 1st Event: Demo of the Sabbat War. Come one - come all (regardless of playing experience). Everyone attending this demo will receive a FREE Sabbat War starter (randomly distributed). And yes, you will be able to trade these starters among the registered players before the tourney. The only stipulation is that the new starter deck MUST remain unopened before trading. No peaking! 2nd Event: A 2-Round Limited Sabbat War tourney. Each table during the tourney will consist of one each of the different Sabbat War starters. Participants will use their sealed deck in round number one. After this round, players will have the option of purchasing 3 boosters of Sabbat War for $11 from the War Room. After time to tune the decks, round two follows and then the finals for the top five players. 3rd Event: Camarilla vs. Sabbat battle. This will be a single round battle for supremacy between the sects for the city of Atlanta. Each player needs to bring two constructed decks: One based on the Camarilla and one based on the Sabbat. You will not know which sect you will represent until the event. Depending on time, this event might go two rounds - this will be determined at the beginning of this event. The deck construction guidelines are the normal DCI tournament rules with the following addition: Camarilla Deck - At least half of your crypt must contain Camarilla only vampires and you may include Independent vampires to round out the deck. You may not include any Sabbat vampires in your crypt. Sabbat Deck - At least half of your crypt must contain Sabbat only vampires and you may include Independent vampires to round out the deck. You may not include any Camarilla vampires in your crypt. If you do not have any constructed decks, you may use the Sabbat War starter. As the round progresses, I will give updates as to how many VPs each sect has accumulated. Prizes will be handed out after the round has completed to the representatives of the winning sect. Individual prizes will also be handed out to the players with the most VPs in the round. Other news: *** Update *** - Once again Steve Wieck has promised that he WILL BE attending! Lets all give him a huge thanks for bringing our favorite game back from the dead. After the events, we can all head next door for beer and wings again (as long as there is no karaoke!). Directions to the War Room: From Atlanta: 1.) Go 85 North until exit 38 which is Indian Trail Road. 2.) Take a left and cross back over the highway. 3.) Go through the first traffic light and you will pass an Arby's. 4.) Take a short left into the strip shopping center right past Arby's. The shopping center has a Winn Dixie in it and the War Room is next door. The War Rooms phone number is (770) 729-9588. The address is 2055 Beaver Ruin Road. Don't miss out on your chance to get your hands on the awesome Sabbat War cards before they are released to the public! If you have any questions, please email me at T_Ban...@Premier-Lending.com or (678) 742-1051. Hope to see everyone there. Todd Banister Prince of Atlanta Scribe of the Assamites
