I have a question about the number of times you can use a weapon and hawg in an entire combat. Are weapons like Chainsaw, which states `usable only once per combat' and hawg, `1 press each turn' usable only once for an entire combat or are they usable once every combat round? A couple of more question, is tapping a master card considered playing a master card and can you remove blood from Investments (short, long and protracted) if you don't have any master cards and you tap a master card in the same turn. BTW, can u tap a master card OOT? (Ok, 3 more questions, I was bluffing, so bleed me! ;-D) Thanks to anyone who can help me. A Jyhad caitiff, :-)

A "turn" is a Methuselah's entire turn. A Hawg is essentially tapped once it is used for a press. > A couple of more question, is tapping a master card considered > playing a master card No, unless the card says so. > and can you remove blood from Investments > (short, long and protracted) if you don't have any master cards and you > tap a master card in the same turn. Yes. You may take blood from a single Investment instead of *playing* a Master card on your turn. Tapping a Master card is not the same as playing it. > BTW, can u tap a master card OOT? Yes, if the card gives an effect that makes sense when it is not your turn.. It doesn't make sense to tap the Gangrel card Backways when it is not your turn, but you can certainly tap the Mob to press any combat you're in, even if it isn't your own turn. papillo the meticulous

The Hawg will generate a press at the "press" part of every turn the combat lasts. - Tor Iver -- Tor Iver Wilhelmsen <tor...@pvv.unit.no> Civ. Except that it untaps during every Methuselah's untap phase, not just yours (if you want to think of it as tapping at all, which is a fine idea.) And, just to be clear: It doesn't untap if you (somehow) untap the vamp in the middle of a turn, of course.

Sorry, but there is no such thing as a combat turn. Combats have rounds. Minions have actions. Methuselahs have turns. Tom's official answer to the question was: once per Methuselah turn, as stated on the card.

Do you have a source for this? Like an official erratum or ruling? The rules and other cards talk about combat _rounds_ and _player_ turns.
