This was asked to me (by Greg Pettigrew): An Independent vampire (say, Hazimel) takes the action to become Liaison. Then, Hazimel becomes Sabbat (say, Hannibal got a few skill cards and wanted to Derange him). A smaller Independent vampire (Jan Pieterzoon Advanced) then takes the action to become Liaison. By the rules, they both must auto-yield. Liaison is a sect-based title, and Jan is a younger vampire. My answer is that Jan wins, since the "I'm no longer eligible for this title" auto-yielding takes precedence. Am I correct? Is my reason correct?

[ quoted text not captured ] Yes. > Is my reason correct? The auto-yield from card text on Rise of the Nephtali doesn't come into play, since the condition for that yield doesn't arise. The title "would not be contested" since Hazimel isn't Independent. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc.
