If they both work before range, whoever controls the acting minion goes first. -- James Coupe (Prince of Mercia, England) Vampire: Elder Kindred Network http://madnessnetwork.hexagon.net http://www.obeah.demon.co.uk

Hm, isn't Shackles unique? That would mean the second part of Luis' question is moot. Correct. At every stage (like "before range", for example), the acting Methuselah gets the opportunity to play the next effect. And Shackles is unique, so both minions cannot have (uncontested) Shackles, as Carl pointed out in another article in this thread. -- LSJ (vte...@wizards.com) VTES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. > LSJ (and maybe Rob Goudie) - Hello -Question 1 for LSJ/Rob. I have not found any rulings for the Sabbat forced withdrawal rules in either the REC (Rulings/Errata/Clarifications) or the DCI floor rules. What are the current rulings for tournaments?Question 2 for LSJ. I am equipped with an Assault Rifle. I block a vampire. Then another vampire of the other Meth plays hidden lurker. In the second combat, can I use the maneuver from the Assault Rifle? One side says no, because I cannot have a strike, so I am precluded from using the AR's maneuver, which would commit me to that strike, which I can't use. I don't have an argument in teh other direction. I don't have an argument in teh other direction. I believe you may still use the maneuver from the weapon. Using the Assault Rifle (or whatever weapon) would just mean that if you had a strike, you would have to use that weapon's strike. p.

The Sabbat Forced Withdrawal rule is no longer part of the rules at all, in any format. DCI Tournaments use the official, standard (, V:TES) withdrawal rules, as they appear in the Revised Rulebook. > Question 2 for > LSJ. I am equipped with an Assault Rifle. I block a vampire. I don't have an argument in teh other direction. You cannot use a maneuver from a strike that you can't use. So, in the first round of a Hidden Lurker combat, the "victim" cannot maneuver with a gun.
