1. Can vampires in torpor use Action Modifiers (e.g. for stealth when leaving torpor)? 2. Can other vampires modify a self-rescue attempt with Mask of 1000 Faces or Blanket of Night? Thanks for the help

You could even Day Operation your own leave torpor action, for MAXIMUM POINTLESSNESS! But, yes, playing Lost in Crowds on your own leave torpor attempt is perfectly legit. >2. Blanket or Cloak are legit, since they're usable by a ready non-acting minion to give an acting minion +1 stealth (or to affect a would-be blocking minion, in Blanket's case), but Mask is not OK since the Masking minion (being ready, as required by Mask's card text) is not legally able to take the action (rescue self from torpor). If they were both in torpor, and Mask didn't specify a ready minion, you could mask the rescue action from one to the other, but as it stands, no. gomi -- Yes, I believe but I'd rather not pray What I believe in I'd rather not say, baby

Actually, I have a fortitude/protean force of will day op bleed/torpor deck.. that uses regenerations and freak drives along with minion taps. Lots of parts but a lot of fun to play. Anyway, to avoid being diablerized I have day-oped a rescue attempt (when the vampire was trying to self rescue) to make it unblockable. Then another vampire, preferably with more stealth would be able to go do the rescue action. Granted not often useful, but I have done it and felt it was the right thing to do. Though, playing Kiss or Ra on a leave torpor action is just so much more fun. Tig

Mask1K, no, since he's not capable of taking that action. -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Can a vampire in torpor modify an action with Malleable Visage? I'm thinking that either: #1.) The vampire in torpor simply cannot play the card. #2.) The vampire in torpor plays the card, the previous combat is cancelled, and a new combat is started but since this minion is not ready there is no combat (is there a diablerie chance then?). Thanks! The vampire in torpor simply cannot play the card. Correct. Vampires in torpor can only play action modifiers when acting - they cannot modify the actions of other minions.
