Reform body vs. Vulnerability

This issue came up this week in my playgroup: I had Corine untapped in torpor at the beginning of my prey's turn. He played vulnerability on Corine to burn her. I played reform body, but was quickly shut down as "there is not action for me to be reacting to" and hence couldn't legally play the reform body and give her two blood. My claim is that I can react to this situation by playing a reform body, regardless of the source of the burning being a master phase action or a the action of a minion. Am I wrong on this? Thanks in advance!

You may not play reform body when there is not an action to react to. Therefore: 1)You may not play reform body in response to a vunerability being played 2)You may not play reform body on Hugo if someone plays an Out of Control on him. 3)You may not play reform body in reaction to a blood hunt called on your vampire for diablerie. Hope this helps. Comments Welcome, Norman S. Brown, Jr. XZealot Archon of the Swamp
