I (and my playgroup here in Montreal) would appreciate 'official' answers to these questions, but anyone who can give a logical response is welcome to suggest a resolution... I haven't seen answers to these posted around here, so I apologize if they're something that's already been dealt with. 1. Are Sabbat vampires considered "Non-Camarilla" for the purposes of cards like Imperial Decree/Covenant of Blood and Cornelius Octavio's Bleed enhancement? One interpretation is no, since Sabbat do not have the card text "Non-Camarilla." However, the yes interpretation is supported by the fact that in normal English (yes, I know, blasphemy!) 'Non-Camarilla' just means 'not a Camarilla vampire,' which would include the Sabbat. 2. If I equip a Sabbat or Non-Camarilla vampire with a Writ of Acceptance, are they still considered part of their original sect (or lack thereof) in addition to being Camarilla (for instance, could a Lasombra with a Writ be the target of the Sacrifice PA)? Again, card text seems to imply that the answer may be yes (as just being considered a Camarilla vampire doesn't remove the "Sabbat" card text -- and after all, maybe she's just a Sabbat with fake ID), but that's an awkward situation to be dealing with sometimes... Thanks for any input. Daniel Levine

This fact is used in the last paragraph of the Sabbat rule-sheet, even though (surprise, surprise) it isn't formally declared. The Sects were (before Sabbat): Camarilla, Non-Camarilla. Now the Sects are: Camarilla, Sabbat, and Independent. Non-Cam includes Sabbat and Independent. Non-Sabbat includes Cam and Independent. > 2. No. A vampire can belong to only one Sect at a time, just as a vampire can belong to only one clan at a time. -- L.
