Just want some input. Is it to much trouble to put 2 Toreador antitrbu's in a ravnos deck EX: jost werner with animalism or Lolita with fortitude to be able to bring out goth bands. With a secret horde or other counter master card couldn't it be a whole game of nightmares??

You cannot target a card you control with the (D) action provided by Goth Band. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D "You reinstall Dial-Up Networking. I got it! You Trojan Horse Uriah Winter to a Ravnos. That way you can place counters on him and more than likely another Methuselah will be controlling him so now you can use the Goth Band to yank counters back off of him to the Master Card "Week of Nightmares". Ethan! Noal! this is screaming for newsletter attention. Comments Welcome, Norman S. Brown, Jr. XZealot Archon of the Swamp

She even has FOR ani!! (and AUS/dom the splash disciplines....) Cameron

In addition, Goth Band only works on cards that use counters and their appropriate counters (which was recently asked). So counters from extraneous sources don't count as valid Goth Band material. The best i can come up with is that you send someone your hunting ground via Disputed Territory, put a counter on it from Dominique, steal it back to the Week using Goth band. But if you're doing this it would be better to use Palla Grande in a !Toreador/Dominique deck, it seems to me.

Want some examples? here they are: Diablerize one of your own torporized vampires Use rampage at +1 stealth to burn one location you control Yes, you can combo Dreams of the Sphix with Palla Grande. The Goth Band keeps the party last a little longer!!!! It's too weak 'cause the Goth band hasn't got any maneuver to keep himself alive, tehy only have 2 live and they will become the #1 target from your prey... But they cost you solely an Art Scam :P. But even if you can use them only once, it's worth they cost. Tom,Mad&Co !Toreador martyr #1

If you play D action on >yourself, it becomes an undirected action. Want some examples? here they That's true, but Goth Band's (errata'ed) card text disallows this: Unique Ally with 2 life. 1 strength, 0 bleed. As a +1 stealth (D) action, the Goth Band may move one counter from any master card controlled by another Methuselah to a master card you control that uses counters. The counter is changed to a counter of the type appropriate to the new card. The errata was added to preserve the functionality of Goth Band, which was designed back when the (D) symbol was errata'ed to prohibit self-directing (and enabled omni-directing otherwise). -- LSJ (vte...@white-wolf.com) V:TES Net.Rep for White Wolf, Inc. Disputed Location it to your predator, either place vandal counters with Dominique or steal all the pool off it with Dominique. The Goth Band can steal either counters for your week of nightmares. Ok, so that wasn't well thought out... doh! (<--- now proper english) maybe there is a better way than disputed territorying something though... can't figure out what it might be though. succubus club, maybe, though a week of nightmares is a bit ally removing. A better action may simply be to bring out a big ravnos towards the end of the week, and reality back people likely to be burned. then just influence them back out. although, that ends the week...hmmm... though problem Cameron

>Ok, so that wasn't well thought out... doh! (<--- now proper english) Even though "doh" is now officially an English word, I still don't think it's exactly "proper" English. I think it's still too much along the lines of "slang" as opposed to "civilized English." =) Halcyan 2

My solution: Put Succubus Club, Dreams of the Sphinx, Goth Band (Clan Impersonate a Ravnos to an !Tor; burn the CI after recruiting GB) and Week of Nightmares in play. Use SC to trade your grandpredator/grandprey ally Dreams of the Sphinx and the SC. Steal a DoS counter and put it on WoN. On your ally's turn (and every turn thereafter), trade SC, GB, WoN and DoS between you so both of you can take turns tapping DoS and moving its counters to WoN. In a four-player game this can keep both WoN and DoS going until someone is ousted, and in a 5+ player game both masters will stick around much longer, maybe long enough to oust people down to 4. On the downside, your Ravnos will have LOTS of WoN counters on them, so you'd better use Guard Duty on the SC and hold on to some Sudden Reversals to keep others from contesting SC and DoS. 'Tis a pity I have no GBs or WoNs.
