According to the recent rules team ruling, if I have it right, you can dump cards that give + stealth after a successful action. And also, you may now use 2nd tradition to block an unstealth action. If all that's true, can I now use an auspex card for intercept I don't need to get it's superior effect when combat results? -"Erik"

[ quoted text not captured ] So long as the reacting vampire is not attempting to block at the time the card is played, yes. (He can attempt to block immediately after playing the card, of course). -- L. Scott Johnson (vte...@regency.wizards.com) Official VtES Net.Rep for Wizards of the Coast. And trying to keep the game from becoming too complex is one reason we here for not making certain rulings. How will it become more complex? Let's run through what will become the now typical anti-S/B strategy. Before, you could just decline to block and watch the S/B deck choke on stealth cards. Here's how it will go now: S/B: I bleed you. Victim: Ok, I'm not attempting to block right now. S/B: Ok, +1 stealth since I can burn it. Victim: Ok, now I'm trying to block with [ insert vampire ]. But I have no intercept so I can't actually block. In any case, you can't play anymore stealth cards. S/B: Doh! I guess I can throw on this Conditioning at least. This is just plain rediculous and adds unnecessary time to a game that already requires a long time to play. LSJ, if you have the power to without fear of punishment, tell the RT to pull their heads out of their butts on this one. Mike mboh...@uiuc.edu

I guess I can throw on this Conditioning at least. actually, according to some info i got.....those last two entries should read: Victim: Ok, now i'm trying to block with [vampire]. But i have no intercept so i can't actually block. Therefore the block attempt fails, and is over. since i'm not trying to block anymore, feel free to play as much stealth as you want. S/B: Ok, thanks. Faceless Night, +1, cloak the gathering, twice, from different vampires....ahhh..now i draw that conditioning.....*blip* oh, you're ousted? damn....at least i have got a clear hand to work with to oust my next prey.... salem christ....

It does not apply at other times. In particular, it does not restrict adding steath with Form of Mist during combat resulting from a successful (unblocked) action like Bum's Rush.
