Just to be sure. Are the following true or false? - a minion card is controlled by the controler of the minion whom it is on. (by default) - a master card is controled by the Meth who played it. (by default) - if Meth A controls Minion X, plays a Blood Doll, and Meth B takes control of Minion X, the Blood Doll is still controled by Meth A. Mathieu

In article <39A39B9D...@webmails.com>, [ quoted text not captured ] Right Methuselah A still controls the card, but Methuselah B get to enjoy the benifits of it as per card text. Put this card on a vampire you control. During his or her master phase, the Methuselah controlling the vampire with this card may move 1 blood from the vampire to his or her blood pool or from his or her blood pool to the vampire. So even though Meth A controls the card (ergo. the blood doll will leave play when A is ousted), it is Methuselah B who controls the vamp it is on, and therefore it is Methuselah B who can move one blood on or off the vampire to or from his pool Comments Welcome, Norman S. Unless it is on a minion. > - if Meth A controls Minion X, plays a Blood Doll, and Meth B takes > control of Minion X, the Blood Doll is still controled by Meth A. False. As soon as control of the minion passes to Meth B, Meth B controls the Blood Doll and as such, is the only one that can use it during his/her master phase. Sorrow

LSJ, Is this the same if we replace "blood Doll" by ".44 Magnum" or by a retainer ? [ quoted text not captured ]

Regarding the question inserted above the context: No, since they are not master cards. As stated above, the rules for control of master cards are different than the rules for control of minion cards. As above, minion cards (equipment, retainers, etc.) are controlled by the controller of the minion they are on (by default). When a Methuselah is ousted, all cards she controls are burned. Cards she does not control are not burned at that time. If she owns any cards controlled by other players, those cards are returned to her when they are burned (or at the end of the game if they last that long). [ quoted text not captured ]

Incorrect, Methuselah A controls the blood doll but by card text the controller of the vampire with the blood doll on it may move one blood to or from his blood pool, so therefore Methuselah B gets to enjoy the use of the blood doll. Unfortunately since the blood doll card is still controlled by Methuselah A, it will leave play when Methuselah A is ousted. Comments Welcome, Norman S.
