Hi all! Vampire A and B are in combat. Vampire B is the reacting minion. Vampire A plays S:CE. (Majesty, Staredown,...) 1. Can Vampire B still play his strike? 2. Can Vampire B play Wolf Claws? 2.1. Can Vampire B play Rotschreck? 3. Can Vampire B play Wolf Claws BEFORE the strike resolution? Thanks! .- Luis....@ip.pt

Any Methuselah (player) other than the controller of Vampire A (whose turn it is) can play Rotschreck if an attempt to use aggravated damage occurs. The Methusaleh playing Rotschreck would play it on Vampire B to send Vampire B to torpor if he played Wolf Claws in this case. > 3. Can Vampire B play Wolf Claws BEFORE the strike resolution? Yes to all 3.5 questions. And if A is a Malkie and s/he's taking a Madness Network action then s/he can play all 3.5 too, and then you may laugh maniacally as your victim drips tears of blood onto their full hand of damage prevention cards ... and what is more, you will have joined the Conspiracy Of Malkav- legbiterists Beating Absolutely everybody into Torpor Regardless of how much Unlife is Left them and then diablErizing their sorry asSes. Wrong! There were some clarifications about Rotschreck: A Methusaleh playing Rotschreck in this Combination would send Vampire A to tropor! > > 3. No, under the 23/6 de-errata'd and correct interpretation of Rotschreck it is vampire A who can be made to take the dirt bath. But you're right that Rotshreck is played by a Methuselah, not a vampire. My mistake in my other contribution to this thread - sorry, Luis! > > > 3. Sorry small misprint there should have been A in the above sentence. The corrected version appears above. Carpe Noctem.
