Theft/Drain have errata??

Hello there! Today one of my opponents said that he once had an argument about the steal blood strikes for Thaum. and the answer from custserv was that the cards have errata so that they can only be played at long range. Is this true? David Pontes 8[

[ quoted text not captured ] Absolutely not. There is no errata on any ranged strike restricting it to "only at long range". Only cards who have that restriction printed on them possess that restriction (and those cards have obvious reasons for the restriction - reasons that do not apply to Theft of Vitae / Drain Essence). The only range-restricted steal blood strike is Tongue of the Serpent, which is only effective at close range, by card text. -- L.
