Just to confirm: During an action, vampire A plays Lost in Crowds, Meth B plays Direct Intervention. Can (A) play another Lost in Crowds? (I think he cannot). During an action, vampire A plays Deflection, Meth B plays Direct Intervention. Can (A) play another Deflection?. (I think he canot). Vampire A plays a Kine Resources Contested, Meth B plays DI. Can (A) play another KRC?. (I think he can). Greetings, Damnans

For clarification could someone refer me to what section of the rules covers this. Thanks.

It is useful for you to quote some of the preceding text when asking questions like this, for reference. However, using: http://www.white-wolf.com/vtes/rulebook/ About action-modifiers and reactions. Under 1.6.3 Minion Cards, you find: "A minion cannot play the same action modifier more than once during a single action." and "A minion cannot play the same reaction card more than once during a single action. " So, you can never play more than one of them during the same action with the same minion. That Direct Intervention cancels the effects doesn't stop them being played, so you can't play another. With an action, the minion can just go again for another action. If you're playing with the tournament rule of "No Repeat Actions" that only works on actions which *resolve*. Since the action didn't get that far (because it was cancelled by Direct Intervention), that doesn't apply. -- James Coupe PGP Key: 0x5D623D5D "You reinstall Dial-Up Networking.
