Is there any vampire or card which allows a minion to impersonate, and thus contest, another vampire ? -- Yours, Orpheus, Prince of Nowhere http://no.exit.free.fr (onlive novel) http://cypheranima.free.fr (goth band) news://news.zoo-logique.org/VTES-francophone audio...@yahoogroups.com

Much too expensive for my taste though, especially B4 the Temporis card came out. It could cost, like, 3 : it takes an action anyway, an older vampire, and it can be intercepted !! But I'd enjoy seing such a card in the forthcoming Camarilla edition. (you can publish the text here, maybe ; but please pull down the cost). - Yours, Orpheus, Prince of Nowhere http://no.exit.free.fr (onlive novel) [ quoted text not captured ]

Contest the right vampire and you caould totally screw someone's deck. Being able to buy someone's vampire is harsh enough, ask anyone on the recieving ends of a Hostile Takeover or Temptaion of Greater Power. Combine Kindred Impersonation with Clio's Kiss and you've got a pretty dirty combo. As for being blockable, well, it is an Obfuscate card so a Fogotten Labyrinth(S) would make it at 3 stealth, pretty hard to block. If using it I'd go so far as to play Daring the Dawn make it unblockable, since the vampires are going to contest and make them both leave play anyway and when it comes back it comes back into the ready region ( by card text ). 5 is a lot of blood but probably a fair cost. I don't know that the card needs a capacity & younger restriction but it definately needs to have something to prevent weenies from using it, either capacity or a younger restriction would probably do. The restrictions make an othewise extremely powerful card difficult to use with any kind of frequency, which is a good thing.

Just a few considerations: it would be an obfuscate-based strategy, it's very unlikely that someone can block that action (forgotten labyrinth+lost in crowd around, mmmh just a direct intervention can save your (key) vamp from being contested....). With malkavians around (obf+dom), it becomes really powerful: Kindred Impersonation + Thanks For the Donation, and one can say bye - bye to his/her vamps.... Sure, it would be a strategy that works not too much against weenies, but it would screw many other mostly-crypt-based decks (above all, this is true with the new BL vampires around). Maybe the cost can be lowered to 4, but not less than that. (and i'm still not sure..:) ) Just my thought Ciao Emiliano [ quoted text not captured ]
