If memory serves me right, Duelist 7 is supposed to contain the list of
cards that are dropped from V:TES (that were in Jyhad), and those that
have replaced them. Since mention of differences have already been
mentioned on this newsgroup (Dr. Jest, Hawg, Wooden Stake...) I am
assuming that #7 is out. I also believe that Tom said that he would post
the contents of that issue (dealing with V:TES) when it was released to
the public. Does anyone have a copy yet? Is it available to the public?
If yes to either of the former questions: Will someone please post the
add/drop list for V:TES????

Did this strike anyone else as _very_ strange. I mean, how do
you issue errata on cards that haven't even been released yet? Couldn't
they just re-print them? (Granted that would probably add some time
to the release date... but like another month is really going to matter.
Plus there are a fair number of cards that they messed up. (Hopefully
the errata will atleast be in the rulesbook, or in each deck/booster.)

I will call for a moment of silence for her before we begin play tomorrow
night; for she was ever the staple of a Gangrel deck.

Quality control - what a concept.

Printing all the cards, noticing problems, and therefore burning the cards
to redo the print run would incur enormous print costs. And print costs
are the bulk of our expense, so the first thing that would have to happen
would be to raise the prices by at least half (else we're taking a loss).
To answer the question of "how did we know?", another layer of error checking
was stuck into the Deckmaster processes after VTES went to print. Fixing
the errors in the print run at that point would have delayed the release even
more, and involved burning at least part of the print run.

If nothing could be done about the errors after this 'additional layer of
error checking' was added, then what was the point of adding it in the
first place?
I'm really not trying to be rude here, but I just don't understand. All
I can think of was that it was important enough to catch these things
before shipping, but not important enough (to add an additional layer) to
catch them before printing...

So now that the cards are being printed domestically, and you have lessened
shipping costs, have no (excise tax? tarriff? whatever it is called?) will the
customer see a drop in price? Or were these factors insignificant in the total
printing cost? (Option C is, Or are you just gouging us for even more? but I
won't include that. :)
