The Unofficial Announcement of the South Central Qualifier
While the wheels turn slowly at White Wolf to get us our official
confirmation of a world-changing event, for the first time ever in the
history of VTES after much bloodshed, name-calling, and skullduggery,
Lafayette, Louisiana will be the location of this years South Central
Qualifier.
"What?!? Impossible!", you say. I know. I know. I only had to sell my
soul, auction off my children, and offer to buy all the drinks on
Friday (no lie) to convince the other princes to come down to the swamp
for some jambalaya, crawfish pie, and file' gumbo.
It is being held at the Days Inn- Lafayette on April 9th, 2005 at
12:30 PM . Ask for the South Central Qualifer and you will get a room
rate of $40 per night.
Days Inn Lafayette
337 237-8880
1620 N University Ave
Lafayette, LA
If we get 10 rooms then the conference room is free and the $5 dollar
entry fee will go to buy pizza from our favorite pizzaria Deano's, home
of the famous Crawfish Deano pizza and the Marie Laveaux Crabmeat Pizza
(normal toppings are availible)
It is just a short hop from the Lafayette Regional Airport (LFT) where
very affordable flights are to be found on Expedia.
Albany, New York to LFT $288
Atlanta to LFT $278 (non-stop)
Austin to LFT $248
Boston to LFT $288
Charlotte to LFT $268
Chicago to LFT $288
Los Angeles to LFT $350
Raleigh-Durham to LFT $246
San Fransisco to LFT $370
Milwaukee to LFT $236
NYC to LFT $284
On Sunday, for those of you who want more action, we will be running a
KMW draft for extra punchiness!
So if you want to have a good time or want some "newsgroup vengance"
then fly on down. We are going to have a great time!
I dare you....

He may even be buying. Who knows.

I kid you not, all; GO. Norm does his parties up right... You will _not_
be disappointed. (Sadly, Norm, that's Amy and my's anniversary weekend. I
don't think she'd take kindly to me scooting off to play VTES on that
particular day...)

Come on! You are not even trying. I ditched my wife on my honeymoon
to go play with the Parisian VTES Players. I almost made the Final
Nights Pre-Release there. :)

$15 spent on parking
$500 spent on craps
$750 spent on two hookers and a donkey
Buying the whole thing on film from Mike Pearlman- Priceless
Somethings in life money can't buy for everything else there's VTES.
